Holiday configuration and managing EOD operations for 14th November 2016

Dear Shri Giriraj, Circle SPOCs & Central EOD Team,

The following instructions are issued to manage the holiday configuration and managing EOD operations for 14th November 2016.

In view of the fact that some of the circles are working and some are not working, besides this, some of the banks are supplying cash to post offices.
Hence, to have the freedom for the post offices to work which are willing to work tomorrow, it was decided in discussion with Director CBS the following instructions are communicated for further follow up:

14th November 2016 will be configured as a general working day across the country by CEPT Team – This was discussed with Mr Giriraj for incorporating the changes.
Circle CPCs will have to do the HISCOD as circle sets without retaining any staff at the respective post offices.
Those post offices and Circles which are instructing the Offices to work on 14th Nov by issuing circle level instructions, may also instruct those working post offices to complete the HISCOD by the respective working office.
Circle offices will also complete the HSCOD in the usual course and get the confirmation from central EOD team
Central EOD team will ensure that smooth DC closure is completed with the support of circle CPCs

This instructions may please be circulated to all concerned for further follow up, so that, there is no confusion about tomorrows EOD.
