In continuation to this office letter no. G-208/ Ch-I, dated-08.02.17 on the above noted subject, please find herewith a copy of Directorate letter No. 10-32/2013-BD & MD dated-20.02.2017 received from CO, Bhubaneswar letter no. BD/4-6/2014(Sub), dated- 23.02.2017 for information, guidance and necessary action.

Directorate has clearly mentioned that, even if a money order is issued, in case of non receipt of electronic data, the same will not be paid and it has to go through entire handling process as the system has been revised after launch of Parcel Net 7.9.6 and there is no need to issue eMO/MO for COD amount.

Therefore, you are requested to strictly follow the instructions contained in the Directorate letter. Further, if any deviation will occur, stern action will be taken against regular defaulters to avoid recurrence of such cases, as intimated by Directorate.
