Sub: - Regarding non-availability of booking scan of registered articles.

Circle Office, Bhubaneswar has intimated vide letter no. ML/3-221/Monitoring/2012 Ch. I, dated-18.04.2017 that, the number of registered articles are delivered more than the number of articles booked due to manual booking of registered articles or non running of communication module by the POs. Even the registered articles are booked in the system, but not dispatch through R-Net module.

Directorate has observed that 57,29 and 799 numbers of registered articles are not having any booking information in the system during the month of February 2017 .

Further, it has also been observed that the up-dation of delivery information of registered articles is very low in comparison to Speed Post articles. Online availability of booking and delivery information of registered articles are essential for improving visibility of registered articles to the customers, in case of lapses of both these parameters, the result may be reduction of business.

You are therefore requested to book the registered articles in the system and to check as to whether all the articles booked at your office are reflected in the system on the next day, which can be checked through registered booking MIS report (http: //services.cept.gov.in/rnet)
