It has been reported by Inspector Posts Kamakshyanagar Sub Division that the Branch Postmaster of Samatangi Branch Post Office has been tested COVID-19 positive on 20.09.2020. As such it is decided to shut-down Samatangi Branch Post Office for two days on 21.09.2020 & 22.09.2020 for sanitization & fumigation.

Sub:-Detection of COVID-19 positive in Samatangi Branch Post Office in account with Kamakshyanagar Block /Tehsil in Dhenkanal District.

It has been reported by Inspector Posts, Kamakshyanagar that the Branch Postmaster, Samatangi Branch Post Office i/a/w Kamakshyanagar Sub Post Office has tested COVID-19 positive on 20.09.2020. Samatangi Branch Post Office is run by two Gramin Dak Sevaks and there is every possibility of contact of the Branch Postmaster with the members of public/ customers. As a precautionary measure Samatangi Branch Post Office has been ordered to shut-down on 21.09.2020 & 22.09.2020.
In view of the aforesaid situation it is requested kindly to arrange sanitization and fumigation of Samatangi Branch Post Office locally for safety of the officials and the public.
