Talcher Thermal Sub Post Office is run by four numbers of staff and there is every possibility of contact of the other Gramin Dak Sevaks of nearby offices who attend Talcher Thermal SO on daily basis. As a precautionary measure Talcher Thermal Sub Post Office has been ordered to shut-down on 21.09.2020 & 22.09.2020.

Sub: Calendar of various Maha login campaign under different Saving Schemes during the month of September 2020.
Enclosed, please find herewith a copy of CO, Bhubaneswar letter No. SB/52-8/Rev.Target/2017-18 dated 27.08.2020 regarding organization of Maha login campaign during the month of September 2020 for achievement of various targets allotted to this Division for the FY 2020-21. As per the fixture/instruction issued by CO, Bhubaneswar, the day for Maha log-in for opening of POSB account, SSA & revival of silent accounts for Dhenkanal Division will be observed on the scheduled dates detailed below in Annexure-I.
As such, all SDHs have to chalk out activities in a strategic and combined manner for opening of max nos. of POSB accounts, SSA & revival of silent accounts on the day of Maha login to achieve the target allotted to them and to make the customers aware of revised minimum balance requirement in Savings account.
In this context, the targets assigned to HOs/SOs/BOs under Dhenkanal Division on the day of Maha login are distributed as under. The Departmental offices may achive their targets by involving their Delivery staff, MPKBY & SAS Agents. Further, all the PMs and SPMs are hereby directed to ensure that for each Maha login PPF accounts may be opened by staff of Branch offices and Departmental employees joining after 01.04.2004 for their future in Department.
In this connection, the ASP(OD), OS, PRI(P), BEs & DO(PLI), Dhenkanal are requested to involve themselves actively on the day of Maha login by contacting the staff of HOs, BOs & BOs for their progress & achievement for successful organization of Maha login.
As such, all SDHs are hereby directed to sensitize all the BPMs & ABPMs under their jurisdiction well before the day of Maha login and to monitor the progess made by the Branch Post offices and Sub Post offices on that day. Report showing the achievement of Maha login should be submitted in the enclosed proforma so as to reach this office on the following day of Maha login positively for submission of the same to RO/CO.
