Sub:-Half Yearly Enumeration of Unregistered Postal Articles for the period from 8^th to 21^st August-2017.

 

    The enumeration of unregistered Postal article of letter mail and unregistered parcels given out for delivery during the period from 08.08.2017 to 21.08.2017 (both days inclusive) should be taken as usual in post offices.

 

    ​The instruction issued thereon from time to time should be kept  in view while preparing the report. All should see that the returns are furnished in the enclosed proforma. The result may also be compared with those of previous enumeration and if there are any abnormal variation reasons thereof may also be mentioned.

The enumeration return should be submitted by all SPMs to their respective HOs by 26.08.2017 positively and the Head Postmasters will personally held responsible for compilation and submission of the consolidated figures in the prescribed proforma to Divisional Office latest by 04.09.2017  positively. 

 

It is here to mention that  new proforma has been introduced in form of Proforma-A, B & C. Data in proforma-C is to be submitted by the Post offices to HOs concerned. HOs to compile the figures in Proforma-A & B(Urban & Rural separately). It should be seen that the figures of both Urban and Rural agree with figures furnished in Proforma-A.

1-6.The ASP(OD), Dhenkanal Division, Dhenkanal/ASP (I/C), Dhenkanal Sub-Division and all IPOs under Dhenkanal Division. They will checkup the enumeration as per attached programme. They should ensure that the SOs of their units submit the enumeration return in proper proforma to HOs concerned in time. They are also requested to follow the instruction scrupulously issued in attached Dte & CO letters.
