Sub:- Use of good quality bags for carriage of e-Commerce consignments.

Circle Office, Bhubaneswar has intimated through letter no. BD/4-6/2012, dated-24.05.2017 that, All India RMS & MMS Employee Union, Mail Guards & MTS Group ‘C’ New Delhi-110001 has raised the issue of not using proper bags to close articles of e-Commerce companies especially Naaptol, Snapdeal etc. resulting handling issue and safety & security issue for the staff handling the articles. Often some consignments are received loose and open to pilferages.

You are therefore requested to use good quality bags for disposal of the mail in good condition by protecting the articles to avoid pilferage, loss-fraud during transmission and delivery of the articles and smooth working of the staff involved in it.
