Sub:     Publication of advertisement for empanelement of Agents for sale of Postal Life Insurance/Rural Postal Life Insurance Products for the financial year 2017-2018

 

            As per Circle Office, BBSR  Letter No. LI/3-15/2014 (Agent Selection) dated 01.05.2017, we  have to engage at least 20 PLI & RPLI Diretct Agents under Dhenkanal Division in the “ walk- in- interview” to be held in the O/O Supdt. of Post Offices , Dhenkanal Division, Dhenkanal on 12.05.2017 (Friday)  at 10.00 hours as per the following terms and conditions.

 

(I)                 Age-   

           The minimum and maximum age of applicant shall be 18 years and 65

years respectively on the date of “walk-in- interview” i.e on 12.05.2017.

 

(II)             Educational qualification of the applicant –

 10^th standard pass or equivalent examination conducted by any recognized Board/ Institution if the candidates reside in an area having population of less than 5000 and 12^thstandard pass or equivalent examination conducted by any recognized Board/ Institution for other areas having population of 5000 or more.

Categories-

·         Persons having a viable source of livelihood such as salaried persons/pensioners etc as PLI/RPLI Agents

·         Self employeed educated youth having source of income

·         Ex-servicemen, anganwadi workers, Mahilamamdal worker

·         SHGs functionaries, Panchyat Sanchar Sewa Kendra woker etc.

·         Any intending person fulfilling other conditions such as experience of selling life insurance products, knowledge of handling computers, having good communication skills, conversant with local areas and population

     

(III)          Desirable:

Experience in selling Insurance Products, Knowledge of computer/knowledge of local

area.
