Sub : Regarding delivery of articles of M/s Amazon.
Sir,
It is observed that a huge no. of e-Commerce articles booked by M/s Amazon are received by Odisha Circle for delivery, therefore it is requested to take necessary steps for smooth handling , timely delivery and provide better customer service to improve the delivery performance.
M/s Amazon had pointed out some deficiency and are found to be genuine in matter of delivery of Prepaid articles received for delivery at various POs.
· Most of the articles are treated manually without entering and invoicing through system, which reflects as unattempted as reported by M/s Amazon.
· Articles are kept in Deposit on the day of receipt at POs without sending for delivery which hampers our delivery performance and also increase unattempted delivery cases.
· Intimation are not being served on time and many times addressee asked to collect the article from Post Office. Whereas, there is compulsory provision of door delivery for all e-commerce articles.
· The delivery performance which stands at 91% at present must raised to 99% in order to avoid complaint and retain the valuable customers.
Directorate has intimated during the V.C with Member(O) to clear all back log pendencies and make timely deliveries considering the above points.
