URGENT AND IMPORTANT CIRCULAR
Warm Greetings to all Comrades,
We all are well aware about happenings around us. Most expected 7th CPC recommendations are not yet submitted. Government has extended four month period and now it is expected to be submitted during the month of Dec 2015. Meanwhile  both the Government and the Department are not ready to include GDS in purview of 7thCPC which  was our major demand during the 6th May strike as per the assurance given by our Minister and the department, Strike was deferred.  But still no development has been seen on this issue.  Apart from this several issues raised at that time are not yet resolved except in continuance of assurance. So NFPE in its Federal Secretariat decided to serve strike Notice and to go on indefinite strike from 23rd Nov 2015. But due to some technical reasons now it has been decided by NFPE Federal Secretariat to go on 48 hours strike from 01 and 02 Dec 2015 instead of indefinite strike from 23rd Nov 2015. The main demands seriously concentrated are only four:

(i) Include GDS in 7th CPC for wage revision and other service related matters (ii) Implement cadre Restructuring proposals in all cadres including Postal Accounts & MMS (iii) Fill up all vacant posts in all cadres of Department of Posts (i.e. PA, SA, Postmen, Mail  Guard Mail Man, GDS Mail Man, MMS Driver & other staff MMS, PA CO, PA SBCO, PO  Accounts, Civil & Electrical Wing Staff, as per actual strength (iv) To stop all type of harassment in the name of implementation of various new services and  schemes and trade union victimization

It is our moral duty to make strike with every success.  It is requested to all Circle secretaries to translate the matter into their regional language and circulate each and every grass root member to convince and prepare them to participate for two days strike (48 hours) and make it a grand success. Fully cooperate with the NFPE local bodies and arrange campaign meetings everywhere and utilize the leaders also who are coming to your place for this strike campaign.

Comrades, “one more important matter” as you are aware that our 26th AIC will be held at Ujjain (MP) from 02nd to 04th Jan 2016. Reception Committee has already booked venue at Dhakad Samaj Dharmashal BhawanUjjain and arrangements are also going on. They will send you informative circular and also appeal for donation and Souvenir Advertisements.  As per the decision of the CWC it is bound duty of all circles to provide financial assistance to AIC. Circle Secretaries are requested to send donations directly to Reception Committee or to CHQ (P-IV). You can also remit money to the following account numbers directly by RTGS–(i) IOB Account No 084001000004190 at Gole Market New Delhi (ii) ICICI Account No 000701223096 at Connaught Place New Delhi.

Formal Notice 26th AIC will be issued shortly.  It is requested to book your tickets in advance conveniently  which may not cause hardship at the last moment and inform this CHQ regarding number delegates attending  to AIC from your circle to make comfortable arrangements. All other matters will be intimated in the next issue of Circular.
                                                                                                 Comradely yours

                                                                                     (R.Seethalakshmi)

                                                                                   General Secretary
