Process of getting digital life certificate issued for Pensioners at jeevanpramaan.gov.in

Process of getting digital life certificate issued for Pensioners

Step 1 : Pensioner needs to have In Aadhaar number fer getting digital Life certificate issued.

Step 2 : Pensioner needs to enrol and biometrically authenticate himself/herself using one of the following methods
jeevan+pramaan+digital+life+certificate
Jeevan Pramaan Digital Life Certificate
a) Download application prepared for generating digital life Certificate from jeevanpramaan.gov.in on any Android Tabiet/Smartphone or Windows PC. Procure a low cost finger print scanner/iris scanner from the market and plug it on USB port of the Tablet/Smartphone/Pc. Using the above application, Pensioner will be able to enrol and bio-metrically authenticate in real time from the comfort of their homes by giving his/her Aadhaar number and other details related.to their pension bank account.


b) Pensioner can visit a nearby CSC center, Bank Branch or any Government office whose details are provided under 'locate center” on jeevanpramaan.gov.in and bio-metrically authenticate in real time by giving his/her Aadhaar number and other pension details related to their pension bank account.

c) if the pensioner is already enrolled on the system, next time he gives his Aadhaar number, he would only be required to authenticate his bio-metric for updating date of his digital life certificate.

Step 3 : After successful submission of digital life Certificate. pensioner will be sent a sms on his/her mobile giving the transaction id, Pensioner will be able to download computer generated life certificate from jeevanpramaangovin using this transaction id tor their records.

Step 4: Bank Branch can be informed about submission of your digital life certificate in one oi the following ways

a) Bank can login on jeevanparmaan.gov.in and can search manually for Pensioner’s life certificate either by giving Aadhaat number, Bank Account number or Transaction.

b) Core Banking Systems of Banks will be able to automatically download life certificate details from the digital life registration repository and update life status in Pensioners bank account.

c) Pensioner's digital life certificate can be sent to respective branch of the Bank by sending an email or forwarding the link through sms to download life certificate from the website.

Reminders through sms will be sent to the pensioners enrolled on jeevanpramaan.gov.in for timely submission of their digital life certificates.

Dear Friends and Comrades,

Meeting of the Postal Joint Council of Action was held on 11.11.2014 at New Delhi. Shri D. Theagarajan, Secretary General, FNPO Presided. Com. R. N. Parashar, Secretary General, NFPE Presented Agenda Items for Discussion. General Secretaries of affiliated Unions/Associations of NFPE & FNPO attended. Com. M. Krishnan, Ex-Secretary General of NFPE was also present in the meeting. PJCA reviewed the Progress in Settlement of 39 Points Charter of Demands submitted to Secretary, Department of Posts on 28.08.2014. PJCA came To the Unanimous Conclusion that NOT EVEN A SINGLE ISSUE IS SETTLED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND DEPARTMENT.
Employees are suffering but authorities are turning a deaf year towards their genuine demands. Rome is burning but Neros are fiddling.

NONE OF OUR DEMAND IS UNJUSTIFIED.
Five lakhs Postal and RMS Employees including Gramin Dak Sewaks and Casual, Part-time, contingent Employees cannot remain as mute spectators.
There is a limit for our patience. Government and Postal Board are treating our patience as our weakness.

Taking into consideration all the above aspects, the PJCA unanimously took the following decision.

1.      Entire five lakhs Employees of the Department of Posts will go on indefinite strike from the third week of February 2015, if the demands are not settled before 31.12.2014.
2.      The date of the indefinite strike will be declared in the 4th December 2014 Parliament March.
3.      Every effort should be made by all All India/Circle/Divisional Unions To Ensure Maximum Participation Of Employees in the Parliament March. Minimum 20000 Employees should participate in the March. All should bring flags and banners.
4.      Leaders of INTUC, CITU, AITUC & JCM National Council staff side will be invited to address the Parliament March.
5.      Next PJCA meeting will be held on 03.12.2014 at 5 PM to decide the date of indefinite strike.

Let us march ahead with Determination and courage. This is time to show your sincerity towards the cause of five lakhs Employees of the Department of Posts. Let us make the parliament March a Historic success.
Let us unite together and make the indefinite strike a Thundering success.
 Let the Government and Postal Board understand that we are not Dumb-Driven cattle.
WE ARE WORKERS AND NOT BEGGARS.

33 / 06 - 10: The post of APM Accounts is to be created at Angul HO on merger of LSG SPM post of Vikrampur SO on matching saving scheme.
Reply: - The Postmaster, Angul HO and IP, Angul East Sub Division has been reminded on 17.09.2013 to submit the statistics of Accounts Branch of Angul HO as per computerized norms for submission to RO for approval. The Postmaster, Angul HO and IP, Angul East has been reminded on 21.02.2014 to submit the statistics along with proposal with in 15TH MARCH positively for further action.

10 / 12: In spite of several Agendas, no improvement has been made in updating the Service Books of the officials by the Postmasters of both the HOs, as a result, staffs are facing problem DUE TO NON REGULARIZATION OF SERVICE BOOKS. Request for Early Regularization of Service Books.
Reply: - Both the PMs have been asked demy officially to submit report regarding no of Service Books updated and to complete with in 30th September – 2013 and submit F.N. Report till completion. Both the PMs have been reminded to comply falling which proper action will be initiated. Both the PMs will be asked to comply within a week positively without awaiting any further reminder.

15 / 12:- Immediate action may be taken for De – Quaterization of Unsuitable Post Quarters, such as Meramandali, Marthapur, Hulurusingha, RD Site, etc
Reply: - On receipt of individual application from the SPM, the matter will be taken up with RO. Concerned IPs may be asked to submit report.

5 / 06 – 12: MANY OFFICES ARE NOT IN WORKING ATMOSPHERE due to lack of furniture – case of Hakimpada, Deulabeda, Dera, PTC Angul, Bantala, Dhenkanal HO and Angul HO
Reply: - Dhenkanal HO, DB Colliery SO and Angul HO have been supplied with furniture as per requirement. IP, Talcher has been requested to submit quotation for Dera SO. For other offices IP has been requested to submit the requirement of furniture. Two (2) no. s of chairs may be supplied to Angul HO and Nalco Nagar MDG. One (1) executive chair will be supplied to Postmaster, Dhenkanal HO. After getting approval from RO furniture needed for offices on urgent basis will be supplied.

02 / 09 – 12: Most of the computerized offices are not having proper computer chair and tables. In most of the offices, the computer chairs which were previously supplied have broken. This Union request to supply of computer chairs and tables to the needy offices and to take action to repair the old ones.
Repy: - No Fund is available and the cost of the chairs exceeds the financial power of SPOs. Case will be taken with RO. In this connection RO will be requested to a lot of Funds.

01 / 10 - 12:  The look and feel of Angul HO is hidden due to the encroachment of the fruit vendors in front of the premises of the Angul HO. The fruit vendors have created their shop attached to the boundary wall of the PO Building. Due to this public are unaware of the position of the PO. Though, it is situated in the heart of the city. Moreover, the public as well as the employees of the HO face difficulties in entering the PO’s building as the customers pack their vehicles in front of the entrance gate. This Union urges the Divisional Administration to take immediate steps for vacation of the fruit shops.
Reply: - The District Collector, Angul / SP, Angul have been addressed in this regards many times. The matter is also taken up by RO. The Collector, Angul has been reminded. The Postmaster Angul HO / IP, Angul East Sub Division also has been addressed the contact the local authority personally to settle the matter. IP will be reminded to look into the matter and report compliance early.

02 / 04 – 13: Air Coolers may be supplied to the Post Offices.
Reply: - Fresh List of Post Offices with number of coolers required has been submitted to RO on dated 18.06.2013. RO may be reminded. RO will be reminded once more. RO may be reminded afresh in this regard.

04 / 04 – 13: Proposal may be submitted to RO for supply of new dot matrix printers to the post offices, as most of the offices are demanding for new printers in place of old and defective printers.
Reply: - Proposal for 40 (forty) no.s of DMP has been submitted to RO on dated 17.06.2013. RO may be reminded. Proposal has been rejected by RO and asked to submit fresh LPC. Action is being taken in this matter. RO has been intimated to supply 12 (twelve) no of dot matrix printers. The same will be supplied after obtaining from RO.

02 / 05 – 13:   Non - Functioning of Cash Counting Machines at most of the offices. No action has been taken till date.
Reply: - No letter / information have been received regarding non - functioning of cash counting machines at HOs and Nalco Nagar / TCR. PM Angul HO has repaired one. The other will be repaired o arrival of mechanic. RO will be requested to supply cash counting machine and fake note detector.
02 / 07 – 13:   Some post offices have more than 1 (one) telephone connection for office use. It can be managed by one (1) telephone. Review may be made and disconnect the extra connection.
Reply: - ASP I / C / all IPs may be asked to submit report. All SPMs will be asked to intimate whether more than 1 (one) line is available at their office. All concerned will be asked to submit report.

03 / 07 – 13: Officials ordered for deputation are continuing more than 6 (six) months should be discontinued.
Reply: - Watch will be made over them, who are completing 6 (six) months on deputation and other alternative arrangement will be made. AS ON 31.01.2014 THERE IS 31 (THIRY ONE) HANDS SHORT. So it is not practicable to change the deputees immediately. How ever it will be regularized in rotational transfer.

01 / 09 – 13: Angul HO is functioning with out UPS since last one and half months. There is frequent electric problem. No action taken for early repairing. There is very possibility of data corruption due to direct electricity with server. Early action may be taken for smooth functioning of the office like HO.
Reply: - Recently electrification work has been done at Angul HO by electrical wing. PMG has approved for repairing of UPS of Angul HO and the approval letter sent to NUMERIC BBSR and the work will be done shortly. RO will be requested to look into the matter.

01 / 10 – 13: Most of the post offices of this division are running with shortage of essential forms like SB – 3, SB -0 103, SB – 7, MO – 8, etc. Action may kindly be taken for early supply.
Reply: - PSD has been requested to supply the required forms.

02 / 10 – 23: Treasury allowance after posting of treasurer is not being drawn of some offices after update statistics submitted .i.e.; in case of Nalco Nagar MDG.
Reply: - Treasury allowance has been sanctioned for the period from 01.04.2012 to 31.03.2013 in favor of treasurer, Nalco Nagar MDG.

01 / 01 – 14: Most of the letter boxes in the division are in damaged condition. The repairing / replacement of the same may be taken up at an early date.
Reply: - New small size letter boxes have been purchased / procured. Those can be supplied to the needy offices. IPs may be requested to submit report regarding letter boxes.

02 / 1 – 14: The MPCM sticker, bar code stickers and computer papers are not supplied in time causing dislocation of functioning of the post offices. The Union urges the Divisional Head to supply the essential computer consumables taking into the average consumption of the same.
Reply: - As PSD has been unable to supply speed post bag labels as per requirement, the supply is not possible. Other items are supplied as per requirement. The MPCM sticker, bar code stickers and computer papers has been supplied properly.

NEW ITEMS

01 / 07 – 14: Advances are outstanding in few post offices since 2 (two) years. No initiative is taken by administration although expenses are occurred on verbal and written permission of the Divisional Administration. Request for early sanction. Case of Nalco Nagar MDG, Balanda SO and Angul HO.
Reply: - Action is being taken for adjustment of outstanding advance.


02 / 07 – 14: Some staff are facing financial problems due to non – sanction of their leaves since a year. Request for early sanction. Case of Pratap Chandra Sahoo, Gunakar Bhoi, Laxman Behera, PA, Angul HO
Reply: - Sanction of leave is being done regularly where there is no discrepancy in the SR – 1 and other related documents.

03 / 07 – 14: Temporary Transfer Bills, OTA Bills of some officials are not sanctioned since 2010 causing harassment. Request for early sanction. Case of P.K. NAYAK who was on deputation to KHAMAR SO for more than 6 months in the year 2010 – 11, now working as PA, BALANDA SO.
Reply: - The OTA bill of P.K. NAYAK, PA BALANDA for 08 / 10 has been received on 09.12.2013. Hence claim forfeited as the claim received after due date of submission. Hence treated as belated claim.

04 / 07 – 14: Two more exhaust fans are required to be installed in Angul HO main building to avoid extreme heat in summer. Staffs are working in unhealthy atmosphere. Request for early installation.
Reply: - Action is being taken for early installation.

02 / 07 – 14: The Departmental PO building of Hindol SO requires white washing and small repairing for good look and feel of the building.
Reply: - Hindol SO has been included in the priority list for white washing work. RO will be addressed on the matter.
